We collect & maintain information about you when you register with us as a property owner / seller / vendor, landlord or tenant. This information can comprise a mix of personal & financial data including your full name, address, dob, NI number / tax reference number / bank & insurer details, plus other professional advisors details, e.g accountant, solicitor, surveyor or authorised third party e.g. guardian or appointed power of attorney or in the case of tenants, your nominated referees and or immediate family members We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys and / or provide feedback on our services |

Proceeds of crime act & anti money laundering
Barbara Rees Ltd. Certain classes of business require us to obtain verification of the source of funds used for that class of business, and where applicable Barbara Rees Ltd will notify you of our requirements in this regard. Appropriate personal and residence ID is also required to comply with the proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and Anti Money Laundering Rules 2007.
Complaints
Should be made in writing to :- The compliance officer, Barbara Rees Ltd. and sent to the company's registered office, clearly stating the date of the event, the nature of your complaint, the member of staff involved and / or the address of the property concerned. Barbara Rees Ltd. will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within fourteen working days from the date of receipt at our registered office. Your complaint will then be investigated and a reply will be made to you within a reasonable timescale (subject to the nature and type of complaint received). Where a complaint involves a third party (other than a directly employed member of staff), Barbara Rees Ltd. accepts no responsibility for delays in processing the complaint (due to third party failure to comply with the investigation process). Barbara Rees Ltd. will not accept service of documents by fax or e mailed attachments nor will we respond to a third party without the appropriate complainant authority.
In the unlikely event of any complaint remaining unresolved Barbara Rees Ltd is a member of the Property Ombudsman and adheres to it's code of conduct. The Property Ombudsman are able to adjudicate in any unresolved dispute or complaint and provide redress, where appropriate, to consumers whose complaints are considered on a case by case basis.
